Artist Talk & Potluck Featuring Marie-Elena Ottman

Marie-Elena Ottman is a Kentucky Crafted artist. Her artwork combines her Panamanian and American upbringing into an expression of both cultures. It is influenced by her love of ancient, pre-Columbian artifacts and the flora and fauna of the tropical rainforest – both found in and around her native land near the Panama Canal. Marie-Elena will discuss her interest in color, texture and form as well as the metaphorical self-portraiture which is her work.
